Become a Partner

We need partners. Our program cannot survive without investment from the corporate community in Austin and other concerned citizens.

Austin is a hub of high tech innovation and investment. Second only to Silicon Valley in its entrepreneurial activity in tech industries, Austin is a great place to start and build a business. Because of its high tech economy, there are many opportunities for STEM careers in Austin. There are multiple billion-dollar companies in STEM fields here, and many more software and engineering firms that account for tens of millions of dollars in revenue each year.

We believe education reform cannot simply come from more government spending. Individuals and local businesses must agree to invest in education with both time and money. We also rely on the help of private donors to continue giving our students free access to highly qualified instructors, curriculum, and STEM-based project-learning experiences.

We need partners in two areas:

  1. Volunteers from STEM fields: Our students need to meet and learn from mentors in STEM fields. Our program is an easy way for your employees to get involved in the community by meeting some great kids and offering advice about pursuing excellence in STEM subjects now and STEM careers in the future. We believe the experience impacts the volunteers just as much as the students.
  2. Sign up to Volunteer

  3. Operating Support: We run our program for a limited number of students on each of our campuses at this time. To run a “full program” for 75 to 100 students it costs us about $20,000 per semester per campus (providing tutoring after school five days a week for two hours per day). Your support for STEM Tutoring will have a direct impact on the number of students we serve and how much access students will have to tutoring.
